Luis Alonso Schökel (1920-1998) was a Spanish scholar.

Biography

Luis Alonso Schökel was born in Madrid in 1920.

A Jesuit, he graduated in Philosophy and Theology and taught at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, from 1957 to his death in 1998.
