Chorazin was a village in northern Galilee.
Overview
The settlement, located on a hillside above the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee, is known only from the late Second Temple Period. It flourished especially during the mishnaic and talmudic periods, 3rd-4th centuries CE.

Extensive excavations were carried out at Chorazin in 1962-1964 and 1980-1987.
