Harry Emerson Fosdick (1878-1969) was an American scholar.
Biography
Clergyman. Graduate from Colgate University and Union Theological Seminary. His sermon “Shall the Fundamentalist win?” (1922) made him a central figure in the conflict against fundamentalism within American Protestantism in the 1920s and 1930s.
