Agabus was, according to the Acts of Apostles, an earlier follower of the Church.
Overview
According to the Acts of Apostles, Agabus was a member of the Church in Jerusalem, known for his prophetic abilities. He was said to have predicted the famine at the time of Claudius (around 45 CE) an then (in 58 CE) the arrest of Paul.
Later Christian tradition identified him as one of the Seventy-Two Disciples and narrated his martyrdom at Antioch.
