William Oscar Emil Oesterley (1866-1950) was a British scholar.

Biography

Born in Calcutta. Taught Hebrew and Old Testament exegesis at King’s College, London, from 1926. Published extensively on the Bible, the Apocrypha, Hellenistic Judaism, and Jewish history.
