Biography

Maurycy (Maurice, Maurice) Horowitz (16 May 1927) was born in Stanislau, Poland, to Jakov and Rifka. He was a refugee in France at Chateau de La Guette.

He was one of the 29 La Guette Children who crossed illegally the border with Switzerland (his birthdate was changed in order to appear younger than sixteen).
