Helmut Wolff (13 Jan 1924) and Elsa Wolff (18 Oct 1927) were born in Landau, Germany, to Adlf and Trude. They were refugees in France at Chateau de La Guette. Werner survived in hiding at Clermont-Ferrand Ecole professionnelle, Elsa at Chateau de Chabannes.
Helmut was one of the 29 La Guette Children who crossed illegally the border with Switzerland.
