Das Leben Jesu <German> / Life of Jesus (1795) is a ms. by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. The work was first published in 1906.

Abstract

Hegel gave a philosophical interpretation of the live of Jesus, in light of Emanuel Kant's moral teaching.

Editions

The work was composed between may 9 and July 24, 1795. The original ms. is preserved at the Staatsbibliothek Preussischer Kulturbesitz zu Berlin. It was first published in Jena, Germany: Diederichs, 1906, and then translated in other languages.
