Edmond Louis Stapfer (1844-1908) was a French scholar.

Biography

Educated at the Protestant Theology Faculty, Montauban, France, where he obtain a PhD. Associate professor, professor and dean at Protestant Theology Faculty of Paris. Published many sociological, literary and historical works on Second Temple Judaism, with the goal of deepening the roots of early Christianity.
