Robert Powell (M / Britain, 1944), actor
Already an experienced actor, Powell played Jesus of Nazareth as the protagonist of the 1977 TV miniserie directed by Franco Zeffirelli. The international production gave him great popularity. For this role, Powell was nominated for a BAFTA award, and collected the TVTimes Best Actor award.
