Göta Ljungberg

Göta Ljungberg (1893-1955) was a Swedish opera singer. In the 1920s and 1930s, she was one of the most celebrated interpreters of Salome in Richard Strauss's opera, and the first to make a sound recording of it in 1924 and again, in 1934.
