La Betulia liberata <Italian> / The Liberation of Bethulia (1771) is an oratorio by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (mus.) and Pietro Metastasio (libr.); see La Betulia liberata (The Liberation of Bethulia / 1734 Metastasio), libretto. Based on the Book of Judith.

Abstract

This is the only oratorio by Mozart, who composed it when he was 15 years old. Based on the Book of Judith, was never performed in Mozart's lifetime.
