Eleasar <Russian> / Lazarus (1903) is a novel by Leonid N. Andreyev.

Abstract

Lazarus lives a awful existence after his resurrection, his presence reminding everybody the reality and horror of death. Part Two of a trilogy of psychological stories relating to the life of Jesus, by a leader of the Expressionist movement in Russian literature.
