The Tornabuoni Chapel is the main chapel in the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, Florence, Italy. In 1490 Domenico Ghirlandaio completed its decoration with a cycle of frescoes illustrating nine episodes from the life of Mary of Nazareth [marked in green on the map], and eight episodes from the Life of John the Baptist [in red]. The cycle also includes 4 scenes of Dominican saints and the donors [in violet] and the portrait of the Four evangelists on the vaults [in yellow].
