Arthur Penrhyn Stanley

Arthur Penrhyn Stanley (1815-1881) was a British NT scholar, clergyman, church historian. In the year 1852-1853 Stanley traveled to Sinai and Palestine. Between 1856 and 1863 he was Regius professor of ecclesiastical history at Oxford.
