Floriano Maria Arresti (1667-1717) was an Italian composer, active mostly in Bologna.

Biography

Floriano Maria Arresti was born at Bologna in 1667, from a family of musicians. His father was Giulio Cesare Arresti. From 1689 to 1691, he studied and worked in Rome. In 1703 he was appointed organist at the Cathedral of S. Peter in Bologna, where he remained until his death.
