István Hahn (1913-1984) was a Jewish Hungarian scholar

Biography

Rabbi, classical philologist, scholar of history of religions. Professor of the University of Budapest; member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He was the leading Hungarian scholar in the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the 1950s and 1960s.
