Simon I was the Jewish High Priest, from 320 BCE to 280 BCE.
Overview
Simon I was a member of the House of Zadok. He ruled as High Priest, from 280 BCE (after his father Onias I), to 260 BCE (followed by his brother Eleazar ben Onias).
