Kidana Wald Kefle edited the traditional Ethiopian commentary on the Book of Ezekiel in 1924, including elements of Jewish biblical interpretation. He also published a Ge’ez-Amharic dictionary in which cognates of other ancient languages like Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic and Greek are indicated.

Kidana Wald Kefle was an Ethiopian scholar.

Biography

Kidana Wald Kefle edited the traditional Ethiopian commentary on the Book of Ezekiel in 1924, including elements of Jewish biblical interpretation. He also published a Ge’ez-Amharic dictionary in which cognates of other ancient languages like Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic and Greek are indicated.
