Cana was, according to the Gospel of John, a village in Galilee.

Overview

In the Gospel of John, Cana of Galilee is the setting of the first miracle of Jesus of Nazareth (2:1-11) and a place he visited during his ministry (4:46), as well as the hometown of Nathanael (21:2).

Since Cana is not mentioned in any other ancient sources, the location of the village is disputed.
