Samuel Tobias Lachs (1926-2000) was an American Jewish scholar.

Biography

Lachs received his PhD from Dropsie College in 1958. He served as a rabbi in Philadelphia, PA and as a professor at Gratz College (1960-81) and Bryn Mawr College (1971-97).
