Robert Sinker (1838-1913) was a British biblical scholar. Born in Liverpool on 17 July 1838, Sinker attended the Liverpool Collegiate Institution, before entering Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1858 (B.A., 1862; M.A., 1865; B.D., 1880; D.D., 1890). He was ordained deacon in 1863, and priest in 1864. Sinker was curate of Coton, Cambridgeshire, 1863-1866, chaplain of Trinity College, 1865-1871, and librarian at Trinity, 1871-1907. He died on 5 March 1913.
