Abstract

Translation of the 2nd part of Hitler's Mein Kampf (1926). The first part was published in 1938 under the title [:File:1938 Hitler 1 it.jpg|La mia vita].

The publication of Hitler's Mein Kampf was promoted by Benito Mussolini himself as part as a sustained antisemitic campaign that would lead to the promulgation of the Racial Laws in 1938. Ironically, the translator of the 1934 volume, Angelo Treves, was a Jew and communist, and his name could not be mentioned as Hitler had explicitly required that the translator be a non-Jewish Italian.
