Aurelio Bianchi-Giovini (1799-1862) was an Italian scholar, historian and journalist. His introduction to Second Temple Jewish history and literature is one of the pioneering works in the field in Europe and stands up for its critical approach to ancient sources and unapologetic view of Christian origins.
