Anacalypsis: An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil of the Saitic Isis; or, An Inquiry into the Origin of Languages, Nations, and Religions (1836) is an arch-fi book by Godfrey Higgins.
Abstract
The book promoted the idea of the existence of a primeval universal religion of humankind, which Higgins called "Pandeism." He traced the origins of such religion in India. Higgins also suggested that Jesus was a dark skinned Indian and Christianity a variant of the primeval Buddhist religion.
