Maccabee (2004) is a poem by Howard S. Rubenstein.

Abstract

"An epic poem in free verse based upon the books of Maccabees." A modern retelling of the Maccabean revolt, praising the valiance of those who resisted tyranny, as well as condemning the murder and slaughter of oppressors.
