In his voyage from [[Malta]] to [[Rome]] Paul followed the commercial route with stopovers in Sicily ([[Syracuse]]), Calabria ([[Rhegium]]), and Campania ([[Puteoli]]). In Puteoli Paul found an already established community of believers in Jesus and spent a week there before reaching Rome by land thru the Via Appia. At his arrival in the capital he was welcomed by the members of the large Christian community of Rome.

Overview

In his voyage from Malta to Rome Paul followed the commercial route with stopovers in Sicily (Syracuse), Calabria (Rhegium), and Campania (Puteoli).
