All sources seems to agree that Jesus grew up in Nazareth, which is consistently indicated as Jesus' hometown.

The Gospel of Luke is the only early Christian narratives to allude briefly to this period of Jesus' childhood.

The Infancy Gospel of Thomas was specifically composed to fill the gap, offering detailed stories about the everyday life of Jesus at Nazareth.

Modern legends about Jesus' childhood include a supposed trip to India or his permanence at Qumran.
