The '''Annunciation to Mary''' refers to an episode in the lives of [[Mary of Nazareth]] and [[Jesus of Nazareth]]. The episode is narrated only in the Gospel of Luke (1:26-38) and later Christian Tradition.

In the [[Gospel of Luke]], the Annunciation to Mary takes the role that in the [[Gospel of Matthew]] is played by the [[Annunciation to Joseph]]. It was Mary (not Joseph) who received the revelation of the true identity of the child.
