The United Bible Societies (UBS) / Alliance Biblique Universelle <French> / Sociedades Biblicas Unidas <Spanish>, founded in 1946, is an international association whose purpose is to coordinate the various Bible Societies in the world.

Overview

The Society was formed in 1946 by delegates from 13 countries. Today the UBS has around 150 member societies, working in more than 200 countries.
