He Nea Diatheke <Greek> / The New Testament (1902) is a book by Alexandros Pallis.

Abstract

The publication, in the Acropolis newspaper, of some parts of Pallis' forthcoming Modern Greek translation of the New Testament caused riots in Athens in 1901 in which 8 people died. It was not until 1924 that the publication of the Bible in Modern Greek translation was made legal in Greece.
