Robert Horton Gundry () is an American scholar.

Biography

After studying at the Los Angeles Baptist College and Seminary, Gundry received his PhD from Manchester University [England] in 1961. As a NT scholar and theologian, he was Professor for several decades at Westmont College in California. A prominent member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Gundry resigned in 1983 having being changed of questioning the historicity of the Infancy narratives in Matthew.
