George Dunbar Kilpatrick (1910-1989) was a Canadian-born British scholar.

Biography

George Dunbar Kilpatrick was born on September 15, 1910 in Coal Creek, British Columbia, Canada.

He studied at University College, London and Oriel College, Oxford. In 1937 he was ordained an Anglican priest.

He was Dean Ireland's Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture at the University of Oxford from 1949 to 1977.

He died on 14 January 14, 1989.
