Humphrey Hody (1659-1707) was a British scholar.

Biography

Monk and theologian. Professor of Greek at Oxford in 1698. Gave a lasting contribution to Septuagint studies, particularly in his demonstration that the Letter of Aristeas was a late forgery by a Hellenistic Jew.
