Ben-Hur (2003) is an animated film directed by William R. Kowalchuk.

Abstract

Based on Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1880 Wallace), novel, this animated version emphasizes the Christian aspects of the plot, giving Jesus a more prominent role. It ends with the reconciliation and conversion of both Ben-Hur and Messala. Charles Heston, who won an Academy Award as the protagonist in Ben-Hur (1959 Wyler), film, gave voice to the title character.
