Albert Vanhoye (b.1923) is a French scholar.

Biography

Jesuit, NT scholar. Entered the Jesuit Order in 1941, becoming a priest in 1954. A graduate from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, taught there from 1963 to 1998, being its rector for six years (1984-1990). Was created cardinal in 2006.
