Adolf Deissmann (1866-1937), scholar

Gustav Adolf Deissmann (1866-1937) was a German scholar.

Biography

Professor of theology at the University of Heidelberg (to 1908), and then at the University of Berlin, Germany. Best known for his work on NT Greek, published influential works on Paul.
