John Pinasco (1837-1897) -- Jesuit priest

Born in Genoa (Liguria), Pinasco entered the Jesuit Order in 1853. In 1858 he moved to the United States. Pinasco served as professor and President of Santa Clara College (1880-1883, 1888-1893) as well as President of the University of San Francisco (1876–1880). Died at Los Gatos, CA.
