Born in Regalbuto, Sicily, Pernicone came to the United States in 1920 and was ordained a priest in 1926. He was pastor in Italian Churches in the New York area. He served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of New York from 1954 to 1978. Died in the Bronx, NY.
Born in Sora (Frosinone), Rosati joined the Vincentian Fathers in 1808 and came as a missionary to the United States in 1816. He was named as the first bishop of St. Louis on 20 March 1827. Died in Rome, Italy.

Joseph Rosati (1789-1843) -- Catholic missionary & bishop

Born in Sora (Frosinone), Rosati joined the Vincentian Fathers in 1808 and came as a missionary to the United States in 1816. He was named as the first bishop of St. Louis on 20 March 1827. Died in Rome, Italy.
