Carlo Abate (1859-1941) -- Sculptor, anarchist.

Born in Italy, Abate emigrated to the United States in 1896. He worked as a sculptor, while collaborating to the anarchist journal Cronaca sovversiva, directed by Luigi Galleani. Died in Barre (VT). A statue was erected in his memory in 1985.
