Luigi Mancinelli (1848-1921), conductor

Born in Orvieto (Italy), Luigi Mancinelli enjoyed an international career as a conductor, in England and Spain. In 1893 he joined the conducting staff of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City where he conducted numerous performances until 1903. Died in Rome.
