Gerty Sophie Schnitzer (8 Apr 1926) was born in Vienna, Austria, to Ignaz and Ida. She was a refugee in France at Chateau de La Guette. Hidden at Clermont-Ferrand Ecole professionnelle.

Sh was one of the 29 La Guette Children who crossed illegally the border with Switzerland.
