Simone Paganini (b.1972) is an Italian Austrian scholar. Simone Paganini was born in Busto Arsizio, Italy in 1972. He studied in Florence, Rome and Innsbruck. He was Assistant Professor of old Testament at the University of Vienna, Austria and research fellow at the University of Munich, Germany, from where he earned his PhD. He is now Associate Professor of Hebrew and Aramaic at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.
