Gerbern S. Oegema (b.1958) is a Dutch-born Canadian scholar, at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Born in the Netherlands, Oegema holds a Drs. from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, Netherlands and a PhD from the Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany. In 2002 he joined the Faculty of Religious Studies at McGill University, Canada.
