The Gladiator: Hill of the Dead (1975) is a novel by Kenneth Bulmer.

Abstract

A Roman soldier fighting at Masada during the first Jewish War befriends some Jews and becomes a gladiator. Book One of The Gladiator series (in US editions) and The Eagles (in UK editions).
