Peter Morwen (c1530-c1573) was a British scholar, clergyman and translator of ancient authors, including Josippon. Graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford, in 1550. A Protestant, he spent some years in Germany as an exile, from 1553 to 1560. After completing his graduate studies in Oxford in 1560, pursued an ecclesiastical career.
