Elena Ovazza (F / Italy, 1928-1943), Holocaust victim.

Biography

Elena Ovazza, the daughter of Ettore Ovazza and Nella Sacerdote, was born November 19, 1928 in Turin, Italy. She was arrestata at Gressoney, Aosta. Detained at Intra, she was on of the youngest victims of the Lake Maggiore Massacres, when members of the 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler murdered at least 57 Jews (predominantly Italian and Greek) in Sept-Oct 1943.
