Stewart Perowne (1901-1989) was a British scholar.
Biography
Diplomat, archaeologist, explorer, historian. The son of an Anglican bishop, was educated at Harvard and Cambridge. In 1927 went to British Palestine as Head of Education and traveled extensively across the Middle East.
