François Duquesnoy (1597-1643) was a Flemish Italian artist. Born in Brussels, on January 12, 1597. In 1618 moved to Rome, where he became one of most prominent Baroque sculptors of the time. He died in Leghorn [Italy], on July 12, 1643.
