The Melchizedek Tradition: A Critical Examination of the Sources to the Fifth Century A.D. and in the Epistle to the Hebrews (1976) is a book by Fred L. Horton.

Abstract

Arguably, th most influential monograph devoted to the study of the figure of Melchizedek. Horton analysed texts from Genesis to the Christian era, focusing chiefly on Hebrews and on the Melchizedek traditions that could have influenced it.
